After calling the police about an incident that occurred which involved me getting punched in the face pay one of my parents, it took an hour for the police to arrive. When the police came, they took me back home (I was at a friends house because I did not feel safe at home). The police officer sat me and my parent down and let us both say what happened. The police officer then told me to shut up and move on from what had just happened.
